SUNDAY love

Sunday's as you know are my FAVORITE day of the week and yesterday did great not to disappoint.

I spent the morning serving with the best people.

My Epic family is the best and they will never ever know how thankful I am that God led me to them. They are a huge blessing! These are two of the many people that put a smile on my face. Felicia, on my right & Anna on my left...both of which I must add are ridiculously hilarious and so sweet.

After service and tear down, I stop by the mall for a short sec to see the sweetest Frannie Mae girl I know.

I wore a cute headband and it kinda of brightened my day even more <3

I had a lunch date with Mr. Will Patrick himself. I feel like I have been non-existant...So we had a whole whole lot to catch up on.
His family was impacted pretty bad by the storms last week, so he filled me in on all of the craziness in his life at the moment. Thank God everyone in his family was kept safe!
Lunch was super delicious and a great great time!!

The rest of the day, I basically worked.
Good fun work of course.

Im off to the gym now loves.
Starting a new class this morning called Dirty 30.
God Help me!!

Bye now,

The HookUp

Hello There!!! Busy busy week friends!!!

Just to recap, Mondays after work I aways spend time with Frances. TuesdayI went in to work early, had a fun birthday lunch for two lovely ladies, I worked late and went to the gym. Wednesday I went into work early, and I had the James eLife group after work {love those people} and Thursday I went in early, and worked late and ended it at the gym. Friday work was great, as always, and  last night I went to Decatur for THE HOOKUP.

oh, the H o o k u p
A few weeks ago I wrote about something that I don't talk about too often and that a lot of people don't know about me. You can read that post here. Last night was all about everything that I have always stood for when it comes to relationships and dating. It was amazing to be in a room packed full of people from teenage years to upper sixties all making the decision from that point in there life, on, to live a life
100% committed to God, pure, trusting him with our lives, our relationships, our love, and getting all of the junk that can harm relationships out of the way.

I made that vow of purity to God when I was younger and if you know me, you know that when I say I'm going to do something, I stick to that and I keep my promises. I have and I'm proud to say that. But going to the Hookup opened my eyes to so many other reason as to why I chose this path. I guess since I've never put myself in the position, I never realized how many emotional ties and baggage that sex outside of marriage adds to someones life. That breaks my heart. I feel like its the hardest since I'm now in my mid-twenties and people have a hard time understanding. The hookup helped me realize that the decision I made is the right one, no matter how old I am.

The HookUp was fantastic and I am so thankful that God has put me in a place where I am being taught the word of God. I am learning and growing. The leaders in this church live a life completely surrendered to God and he is using every single one of them in incredible ways. I am in love friends. Completely in L O V E and so incredibly thankful.

James.

Last Wednesday my good ole pal Will started a new life group called James.
We are going through the book of James verse by verse and sinking deep into it.
Last wednesday two verses in I was smacked right in the face with some amazing truths.
But, last Wednesday at the time, I didn't realize that the exact Faith that James talks about would be tested in my life less than a week later.

Its the most amazing feeling when you come to a place in your life where you know God's promises won't fail you. It's the most freeing feeling. It's PEACE. It's COMFORT. It's JOY.

I'm going to bed tonight with so much excitement in my heart I can hardly contain it.
I'm also really excited that tomorrow is Wednesday and that means Chapter 2 of James with the greatest friends I could have ever wished for.

Bye for tonight,

Full Service + Nashville

Hey. Well by now, you must know that Sunday is clearly my favorite day of the week. I love my church family and I love spending any time with them that I can!

We all went to Wildwood Park in downtown Florence and worked on the Bike Trails. We trimmed the trees, raked leaves, had FUN, and formed lots of new relationships. I love that Raeghan has been coming and just fit right in with the crew. It's been such a blast having her here. We laughed the entire time we worked. Will taught Raegy how to drive the four-wheeler and as soon as we were about to take it for a spin, it was taken from us :( We worked from like 9 until around 1ish! It was so fun working and knowing that although it seemed small, it definitely will impact the people who walk/run/bike these trails everyday! So rewarding knowing that. It was fun to actually BE THE CHURCH outside of four walls, just how its supposed to be!

After we worked Raeghan and I went with Will to Panera...for the third time of the weekend haha. So we had a nice lunch, went home and actually decided that we were indeed going to Nashville later that afternoon to meet up for dinner with my friend Zac.

The drive to Nashy was...well interesting. We listened to GREAT worship music the whole drive. We talked. We made up worst-case scenario stories. We had our first Road Trip with just the two of us. AND Raeghan had never been to Nashville, so that only made it more exciting!

After we met Zac, we went and got Sushi. That was also a first for Raeghan! I'm not sure if she will ever eat it again, but she did try it! After dinner we took her downtown to explore a little and we listened to some music.

It was a GREAT night. I laughed the entire night. Zac is hilarious. So much fun and completely worth the drive even if it was for just a few hours. Can't wait to go back....to see the Preds.

Hope you all had a fun weekend!!!
P.S. Its snowing in Florence. UGH. Hate it. I want my HOT sunny weather.

Wonderfulness!

Hi Love!
It's my favorite day of the week. Yes...I love Sundays so very much. I go to bed every sunday night with the happiest heart on the planet I do believe.

I have a few videos from the weekend & a few photos. WHY do the weekends insist on zooming by? They need to s l o w i t d o w n. Anyway, here's a glimpse into my weekend so far. Enjoy!

Gosh I love these people. I L O V E them so much and am super thankful for all of them.

Here's the rundown of everything you just saw
{Friday lunch break with Gypsy. That pupster is such a sweeeeeetie!}
{Pauly P being a weirdo in his hoodie}
{Selfie Saturday?}
{Me harassing Raeghan with my videoing}
{Lounging at the Movies seeing Frozen}
{EchoBase Worship Night with the GREATEST friends on the planet}

 Clearly my weekend has been really wonderful & we still have one day left until its back to the work grind.

Today is baptism Sunday! At Epic, baptism isn't just a typical baptism service. It's a full out PARTY, like serious PARRRRTYYYY! So pumped for today. If you're in the shoals area, come out and hang! 11am this morning or come catch the 6pm service with me in Decatur!!! Dare ya;)

How was your weekend?  Feel free to share away!

Bye now,

Rae & bB Saturday

Hi hi!!! I have been having a super fun & totally chill weekend with Raeghan.
She got here later on Friday! We stayed at my apartment and talked the night away. We have LOTS to catch up on.

Yesterday during the day, Rae had some school work to do and I wanted to read a little. So, we went to Books-A-Million. Pretty typical of us, right? We had lunch at Panera and shopped at Ross, as well as TJ Maxx. Gah that place...it gets me every time!! We tried to take a nap, but then got caught up in watching good ole Patty from Millionaire Matchmaker. She is hilarious and insanely mean! haha I always lose track of time when I watch her show.

One of Rae's friends, Clint, drove to Florence last night so we could hang out. We had such a fun time. We went to dinner pretty late, listened to some music, people watched a little, got to know each other a little bit. Late last night we decided to just crash at my little home and watch the Purge. I do believe I was the only one who stayed awake for the whole movie. Can't help it. I LOVE that movie. Have you ever seen it? It's such a good movie!!!

Clint, I'm so glad you came to Florence! It was great meeting you. Hope you had a good time. Come back soon!!!

This morning is a struggle. Do NOT want to get dressed. But, I will say I'm pretty freaking excited that Raeghan is getting to go to church with me. This place, these people, they make my heart so happy and its something you just have to experience. Unfortunately Clint couldn't go with us today. He had to head back to Bham to make it to Church29:11 for their service.

HAPPY SUNDAY EVERYONE. My favorite day of the week.
I Promise Rae and I will do better today about taking better pictures.

Bye for now...be back later.

Family Time & Epic Time

Hey Hey!!! A freaking fun and very blessed weekend is what I have had.
Here are a few photos from all of my fun.

Here's the run down.
1. I got my hair cut Friday. I have the best boss who recommended Aleesha Crowe to me. THANK YOU FAITH. I now have my own hair stylist in Florence FINALLY after eight long years! haha

2. My jewelry on my counter was a mess...but it sure was a beautiful and pretty mess.

3. My Rae Rae Surprised me. I knew my mom and my auntie were coming to florence to visit me but I had no idea that my sweet Raeghan was coming. When I opened my door and her smiling face was standing there, my heart got SO happy. Gosh I just love that girl and glad she's BACK to Raeghan!!!

We went out to dinner. We had the Pie Factory. It was Awesome!

We talked and talked and talked about life and everything that is changing. I don't know what I would do without my family. They mean more to me than anything. I trust their advice and always take it to heart.

4. Raeghan ducking in the back seat hiding while her mom was embarrassing her. GAH those two are hilarious.

5. Late last night I found Dirty Dancing on T.V. Oh Patrick you are stunning.
& Nobody puts baby in the corner.

6. I got to do Zombie makeup today at church. I LOVE Epic. Like seriously I don't  think I could ever put into words how thankful I am that God led me to Epic that random Sunday when I was probably at the lowest point in my spiritual life. I was deep deep down in the dumps discouraged and ready to throw in the towel. I never ever imagined finding a place where I not only would find a church, but a church filled with his presence, filled with people who seek only his presence, a place where I have a FAMILY, a place where I have made some of the best friends I could ever have prayed for... I could go on and on and on.

As always, God has showed me that if I just trust him with every single direction of my life, he will be faithful and he will put everything in my life that I NEED. {not want..but NEED.Huge difference}

So see. I've had a pretty fantastic weekend and sure hope you have too.
Be back later

OH and THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU
my day was made today! I was grabbing some coffee at church this morning after I finished up zombiefying the Kelleys. As I was getting my coffee that sweet lady that was serving the cafe, said "I just love reading your blog." and it made my heart so incredibly happy.

You all have no idea how much that makes me want to cry. It means the world to me when someone enjoys my little space here. I've kept this blog going for quite some time now. I started out doing it just so my family would feel connected to my life while I was away for school. I had no idea what a huge impact my little blog would have on my life. It has become part of my being and I am so grateful for all of you who read it and continue to support what I love doing.

Thank you all so much!!!

Love love love

Last night was a blast!! I got to hang with some of my favorite people and we gave out Red Bulls at UNAs Big Deal Event! It's basically where different organizations, groups, businesses, etc. line the entire Amphitheater with booths giving away goodies so new and old students can learn about the cool things that go on on campus as well as around the community!

It was just a blast!!! seriously, students all over the place!!! I hope they come and visit us:) I think we made some great connections. We were also letting people sign up for a chance to win tickets to see the Lumineers!!!! Like how awesome is that?!?
I just LOVE my Epic Church family and I know from my own story what a blessing they are. So, naturally I want as many people to have that same experience that I had! I honestly can't imagine my life now without these great people in it and I am so beyond thankful that I listened when God was leading me to Epic. It has changed my life and I want others to come and see for themselves what God can do if you just let him.

Oh I also got to see my good good goood Artsy friend Adrianne! Miss that gal:)
She's precious!

If you ever want to learn what Epic is about, please ask...and if you're ever in the shoals area or the Decatur area, Ill be more than happy to get you there if you want to go!!!

Happy FRIDAY loves

Twenty-Five BEFORE Twenty-Six

Hey there!
I know I am a few weeks (or month, plus some) past my 25th birthday, but I wanted a pretty looking list for my motivation;) So here it is friends....This years motivation.
Last year, I chose not to have a goal list, 24 before 25, and I feel like that year was the most least productive year of my life!!! I am beyond happy that this year that wont be the case because I will be tackling this list full force, with lots of smiles, laughs, tears, memories and so much more I cant even imatgine. TWENTY FIVE is going to be a FANTASTIC year!!!

What do you think of my list?
