Top Two and HAWAII

Hey there!!
It's already January 6th? Where is January going?
Its' the first TOP TWO of 2015
and this week its all about GOALS for this year
So here you go... TOP TWO TIME!

NUMBER ONE
Worry Less. Smile More. Don't Regret. Just Learn. And GROW.
I know I have a really awesome and blessed life but sometimes we are all guilty of taking the life we have for Granted. I want to make the most out of what I have been given. I want to dive into ever single opportunity head first without questioning, without over thinking, and without freaking doubting myself.

NUMBER TWO
Be a complete SPONGE the entire year.
I want to learn. I want to grow. I want to become a better me. I want to go places. I want to move places. I want to BE the person that God has called me to be.
I want to BE where God wants me to be.

So with that I come to this....
I leave in NINE days on the 15th of January for a month long adventure. Its an opportunity that if God wouldnt have been there to open doors, I wouldnt have the opportunity to see the things I am going to see.
I will be in both Maui and Oahu for both fun as well as business.
I am SO thankful to be able to go. However, I am concerned though because I as well as my whole family have always known that God gave me the heart to GO. He didnt create me with the desire to be a hometown girl who is comfortable with staying in the same town that she grew up in. He gave me an adventurous heart and I am so glad that he did. With that being said, I am worried that going to Hawaii will change my whole life. You know what drives me crazy about life....the NOT knowing. I like to know whats ahead, I like to have a plan, I like to stick to the plan. But I have always known and said that God's plan is always far better than our own and is usually a plan that we cant even comprehend. While I am in hawaii, I want to figure out and know exactly the reason that God has me there for a month. I want him to use me for exactly that reason. I hope my talents are used. I hope he uses me to take a stressful load off of someone. I just don't want to be there to be there....I want to be there to make a difference for someone, whatever that difference is.
I want this trip to completely transform my life because its a once in a lifetime chance for me. AHHH I can't wait!

Happy Tuesday friends!
I hope its a beautiful one.

Underestimated

Sunday afternoon, I went and had some asian food with my long time friend Will. Will & I have known each other our entire lives basically and he was one of my best friends all through High School. When they brought our checks of course they brought us fortune cookies. Usually I open them, halfway read them and laugh because they are usually pretty silly. This one however, really struck a chord.

Since Sunday I've been thinking about how I view myself. Just to be honest, I have zero confidence in my talents and I underestimate myself too often. I know they saying we are our own worst critic, and its such a true statement, but for me...I do nothing to critique myself on. I'm just wasting my talent doing the same thing day in and day out. just over and over and over again. And who's fault is that? No ones but mine!

I think the problem is that the goals I set are so easy for me to achieve. I set goals that I know I can accomplish....Yes, when you set goals you should set realistic ones, but they should at least be challenging. Mine aren't and thats no ones fault but my own simply because I underestimate the things I can do, and I am terrified of failure. Again, just wasting talent because of fear. It's ridiculous. I really need to re-evalute my life and the plan that GOD has for me. Somehow I've run off thinking I can do this myself...my own way and guess what, I can't. I want Gods plan for my life, not Brianna's. So whatever that is, I'm ready and willing to do whatever I need to.

"...Everything is possible for one who believes." - Mark 9:23
"...What is impossible with man, is possible with God." Luke 18:27
"And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to HIS purpose." Romans 8:28

I am praying for a new confidence in myself and confidence in the talents that God has given me. He gave them to me for a reason and it wasn't to sit them aside and let them collect dust. Thanks for letting my get a few things off my chest and thanks so much for reading and loving me:)

Twenty-Five BEFORE Twenty-Six

Hey there!
I know I am a few weeks (or month, plus some) past my 25th birthday, but I wanted a pretty looking list for my motivation;) So here it is friends....This years motivation.
Last year, I chose not to have a goal list, 24 before 25, and I feel like that year was the most least productive year of my life!!! I am beyond happy that this year that wont be the case because I will be tackling this list full force, with lots of smiles, laughs, tears, memories and so much more I cant even imatgine. TWENTY FIVE is going to be a FANTASTIC year!!!

What do you think of my list?
bysie Bye for now.

PERFECT celebration

Hey loves. I sure have missed sitting down, relaxing, and blogging. We've been running around like crazies for the past couple of days. Friday was an insane day in general. I worked late at the print shop, headed for some baking supplies, then stayed up half the night baking and making things to help Frances and Mary Mac celebrate the marriage of Trueman (Frannies brother) and Lydia!!

Let me just start off by giving props to Frances  and MM.

Frances, I thought that my brain was the only one in overload all the time. Constantly thinking on things and ways to make things perfect. Turns out I'm not the only one with this delightful curse. The party that you envisioned for last night was stunning and YES....PERFECT! You have a special God-given talent for event planning and creating beautiful loving spaces. Don't EVER let that slip away. You are GREAT at what you do and I'm so lucky and blessed to have someone so creative and talented to call my best friend.

MM you are a jewel. You are the most caring, most giving, most helpful, most selfless person I have probably ever met and you my dear helped me SO much with baking Friday night. THANK YOU!

Friday night I baked Baked BAKED away. Thanks to Mary Mac for her input and help! Seriously I don't know if I could have pulled these off without her. Early yesterday morning I frosted and made my cakes all pretty! GOOD HEAVENS....I forget so easily how much I love doing this. It's so relaxing and it is just something that makes me smile.

The party was at Miss Annie's Rustic Park and Beer Garden. This place....seriously is FANTASTIC. It was the PERFECT setting for the crazy vision that Frances had in that brain of hers. I honestly don't think it could have been at a better spot.

We got to Miss Annie's around 11 yesterday. And the fun fun fun began! We worked until around 2ish getting everything just the way it was meant to be. Frances has been printing away to get everything ready for about the past three weeks. Mary Mac has been making things for the past three weeks. And I have been assisting them in anyway possible for the past three weeks. It's been a FUN past three weeks to say the least in my opinion.

Here are a few photos from the party. I hope you enjoy.

That's all of the decor photos!! Wasn't it all just GORGEOUS! Frances and I were joking around yesterday about our weddings...We came to the realization that we have no idea who in the world is going to help each one of us pull off the weddings that we will dream up in our crazy brains. It's going to be terrifying...Here's an idea Fran,...I decorate yours, you decorate mine. I think that might possibly be the only solution. We just have to vow to each other that we will still be BFF's at the end of both of them! haha. FUN FUN FUNNNNN Future ahead.

Katie Bug looked SO adorable.

This is Trueman!!! He and Lydia were so sweet and loved everything about their party. I think we might have shocked them a little bit ;)

The sweetest prayer moment with Katie bug just a playing! Such a cute little family.

BESTIES!!! What would I do without her? seriously.

Lovebirds. Heeeyyy... I can't WAIT to have YOUR wedding!!!! Ahhhhh it's going to be such a fun time planning, buying, beaching, pampering. GOOD GOLLY...hurry it up you two. I'm itching to start!

We did take about a 20 minute break from the CRAZINESS to have a little manicure time. It was much deserved and very very MUCH needed. This will happen bi-weekly maybe?! You down Frances and Lydia?

This weekend has been a BLAST and I wouldn't change a second of it. I have been blessed beyond measure with the people that God has brought into my life and I am SO SO SOOOO thankful. Now if I can just pin down me a significant other.... HA! in time in time. patience patience patience. I know.

Tootles for now. Hope you enjoyed a glimpse into the Adam's kind of Wedding Party! Perfect!

New Project!

Hi! Sooo I have a new project in the planning process.

I will be creating a new Sofa Bed. It's going to be a really FUN, as well as a trial & error project. But none the less it will  be done.

and I will be getting this guy to help me.

Or to be completely HONEST, he will do all of the physical construction. I will be sewing fabric and fitting it to wooden frames. I also will be the creative behind it, as well as the 'project manager!'

Not going to lie, I am ECSTATIC about starting.

I'm on the hunt for some foam slabs. The entire width of the completed bed will be 72in. And one thing I've noticed, foam isn't the cheapest of materials. boo hoo. You know what a thrifty shopper I am. But, also, you know that once I get something in my head, I pretty much won't give it a rest until I accomplish it or make it happen.

If I can't find reasonable foam, the plan is to figure something else out....in the words of Mr. Tim Gunn, "Make it Work!"

I am having a little bit of a rough time picking the fabric! Ohhh Slow down Brianna. One step at a time. I better stay on track for now after the foam! I'll get back to the fabric! But in the mean time...if you have any fabric suggestions, please do share!

Tootles for now loves

Lovely Mondays

Hi Friendy!

I hope you just EMBRACED the Monday. I know I know, it is SO incredibly easy to hate mondays, but I encourage you to just make the absolute BEST out of it.

My monday was great. I worked, then my friend Melissa, and  I went to look at a Duplex in Birmingham. Then we found ourselves in Homewood, so we had dinner at Oak Hill! It was a very very FUN and eventful Monday, a GREAT way to kick off a new week.

Oh and I MUST add that it is a short work week for me. Thursday after work, I am leaving for a wedding weekend at the beach. Naturally, I am OVERLY excited about that!

Last night I stayed up pretty late working on a painting.

Here are a few bits & peices of it....

I'm not ready to show it to you completely, because I am entering it into the BAA Annual show.

So, HOPEFULLY it will get into that show. Wish me luck!

On WEDNESDAY I have a Lovely new Skirt to debut to my lovely FAB fans and followers. Here's a sneak peak of that too!

I don't know if people really grasp the vision that us FAB ladies have. Let me just tell you, our FAB dream and the fire that we have for it isn't going to die. It only intensifies with every idea and every conversation.

It's really REALLY exciting to think  about our future! Be sure to check back on Wednesday for the lovely Skirt post & there will also be info about ordering one for yourself!

Enjoy the last few hours of this Monday

New Skirt Lines

hi hi hiiii

So I am about to get into the swing of adding new skirts to etsy, since mine have seemed to fizzle out.

I want to get a whole line of them out just in time for the NEW lovely fall season....Skirt & Boot weather!

Also, the skirts I am planning will be FABulous to pair with brightly colored tights or leggings. I'm rather excited!!

Hopefully F&A can help me out with this :winkwink: I know I can always Depend on my FAB ladies.

A FAB sewing night needs to be planned!!

I am planning to develop three small lines of skirts. I want to do three because I understand that not EVERYONE likes to dress overly bright and colorful, so that's my reasoning for the different lines.  I will reveal the name of the lines further into the planning,

but here are a few ideas of the fabrics that I have in mind.

Umm Im rather ECSTATIC! now If I can just get everything going....wish me luck!

Are you working on anything new, fun or inspiring?!? SHARE!
