Top Two and HAWAII

Hey there!!
It's already January 6th? Where is January going?
Its' the first TOP TWO of 2015
and this week its all about GOALS for this year
So here you go... TOP TWO TIME!

NUMBER ONE
Worry Less. Smile More. Don't Regret. Just Learn. And GROW.
I know I have a really awesome and blessed life but sometimes we are all guilty of taking the life we have for Granted. I want to make the most out of what I have been given. I want to dive into ever single opportunity head first without questioning, without over thinking, and without freaking doubting myself.

NUMBER TWO
Be a complete SPONGE the entire year.
I want to learn. I want to grow. I want to become a better me. I want to go places. I want to move places. I want to BE the person that God has called me to be.
I want to BE where God wants me to be.

So with that I come to this....
I leave in NINE days on the 15th of January for a month long adventure. Its an opportunity that if God wouldnt have been there to open doors, I wouldnt have the opportunity to see the things I am going to see.
I will be in both Maui and Oahu for both fun as well as business.
I am SO thankful to be able to go. However, I am concerned though because I as well as my whole family have always known that God gave me the heart to GO. He didnt create me with the desire to be a hometown girl who is comfortable with staying in the same town that she grew up in. He gave me an adventurous heart and I am so glad that he did. With that being said, I am worried that going to Hawaii will change my whole life. You know what drives me crazy about life....the NOT knowing. I like to know whats ahead, I like to have a plan, I like to stick to the plan. But I have always known and said that God's plan is always far better than our own and is usually a plan that we cant even comprehend. While I am in hawaii, I want to figure out and know exactly the reason that God has me there for a month. I want him to use me for exactly that reason. I hope my talents are used. I hope he uses me to take a stressful load off of someone. I just don't want to be there to be there....I want to be there to make a difference for someone, whatever that difference is.
I want this trip to completely transform my life because its a once in a lifetime chance for me. AHHH I can't wait!

Happy Tuesday friends!
I hope its a beautiful one.

Asking & Wanting

Hi hi!!
"I shifted from asking to receive something, and hoping it would be granted, to simply declaring my desire in all honesty. I immersed myself in the wanting, not the asking, not the pleading, not the striving, just the very pure wanting. It was the only thing I could verify. It was the only thing I could be sure of."

If I want something, I go after it. But what would be the point if you didn't completely believe you can obtain it. I think the driving force is desire. For me, I want to explore every facet of my life....my ONE life.

I don't by any means think that we have complete control over every tiny detail of our lives, but I do believe that to some extent we do have enough control to determine the direction that our lives take. For me at this moment I am declaring so much in my life and truly believing in it. I hope you can do the same...or at least give it a try!!!

It's Thursday friends, which means its almost the WEEKEND!!!Bye now, bB***

Working It.

Hey there.
Have you ever wanted something? It could be anything from wanting a simple pair of shoes to getting physically fit, to having more out of a relationship, or maybe even making a life altering career adjustment. Yes! Most of us have at some point in our lives wanted s o m e t h i n g.

That thing you wanted doesn't just come easily. It takes dedication. It takes work. It takes tremendous effort. When people want something, R E A L L Y want something, they are willing to work at it no matter how hard it may get.

This has been on my mind for the past couple of weeks. I just wanted to remind all of you that the things you want aren't just going to transform without any input from Y O U. If you want things to change in your life, Y O U have to take initiative and make an effort.

If you want that pair of shoes, put a little bit of money back from each pay check until you have enough saved to buy those special shoes.

If you want to get physically fit, change your eating habits, and get that butt in gear. Go work hard at the gym and do it consistently. It takes time, but stick with it!

If you want to have a better relationship, change your norm. Take & make more time for it. Don't waste precious time in unfulfilling things. Start making an effort to make your relationship one that has M E A N I N G. If there is no honest meaning, don't waste anyones time. Relationships are hard and do take work. Being "ready" for a relationship and making it meaningful doesn't just happen. It takes serious effort from both sides.

If you're wanting your dream career to unfold, this definitely wont happen without hard hard work. A lot of times people think that success happened overnight, but the truth is, that is N E V E R the case. People who have successful careers have put years upon years of hard work into what they do, hour upon hour, late night upon late night, and it never ends.

These things take WORK. They take CONSISTENCY. They take DEDICATION.
Now what do you want? ask and answer!!!

Now go after it. Work for it. After all, the most rewarding things are the things that you have poured your life into.

That's all....hope you're feeling motivated. If you have any questions, please feel free to ask!!

bye now

My Priorities

I'm feeling a little overwhelmed with things in my life that aren't prioritized right. This is NOT good.
I am working on getting those things straightened out and in the right place on my **important** list. There are some things that have been at the top of my list that definitely need to come down a few notches {or maybe even a lot of notches}.

What better way to start off a new month than with getting things in order.
Here's to that!!!

Hope you have the BEST monday.

Bye for now,

Overwhelmingly

I just had an INSANE vision for my new series of paintings.

In the middle of 2011, right before my 23rd Birthday, I was really hurt by someone who I trusted with everything in me. I was completely blindsided and never saw it coming. If I'm being completely transparent right now, that situation had a lot more of an effect on me than I ever played out. I'm pretty good at pushing things to the back of my mind and pretending they didn't exist.

The previous five years before that, I had been at the TOP of my creativity level and I felt like I was just beginning. Those five years prior I had spent in the company of this person while I was creating, creating, creating. He saw my work from conception to birth and I thought he was my number one fan...and at the time, I know he truly was. No question. But people change, people grow apart. We had done both.

Since then, I have been in this struggle with creativity. I guess somewhat as a defense mechanism, I had put up a block, scared to be back at that place that I was. You know a "creativity-block" just like "writers-block" that you hear writers talk about. Artists have that same problem every once in a while. I read something the other day that said, "When life sucks, don't pretend that it doesn't - but make sure the sucky-ness has a limited shelf life." Just what I needed to read. The shelf life of this Creativity-Block is WAY out of date and is being thrown out. I've been reading, digging, and burying my head in inspiration and I am finally reaping the benefits of those late nights and early mornings. {thankthelord} I feel like my creativity pot is boiling now and soon will be bubbling over. This is who I used to be. The Brianna that I know. That I am.

Here are a few things that are at the top of my ways to stay inspired list:
. Share your smile, and most likely you will get one back in return . make eye contact . cook . write an inspiring word, then write your own definition of that word . have a pen pal, or two or three . be kind and help, share, give, motivate others . be confident . Surround yourself with like minded {creative} people or just some very good company for that matter . and make fried pickles with them .

Thanks for stopping by and STAY INSPIRED.

"...at the end of this rope and I'm letting it go."

hey hey
I've been reading a whole lot lately.
AND the best thing about that is I've been more motivated and inspired than I have been since I moved here. I don't know why it has taken me so long to get back into my creative thinking and being. Where have I been over the last year.

I've always thought I was pretty good at change and getting in the groove of new things, but over the past year I have had a hard time. I haven't been able to put my finger on exactly what has been in my way and I don't know that I ever will know. But what I do know is that personally, I have come to the very end of this rope and I'm letting it go. I'm over being complacent. I'm over being average. I'm over thinking inside of this box of normality. I'm getting back to the heart and soul of everything I have ever worked so hard for.

What have you worked hard for? What are you awesome at? Is something standing in your way of being the best at what you do? Is it doubt? Is it certain relationships? Is it your current job? If so, join me in demolishing it. Get rid of it and do what you were created to do. I don't know about you, but I don't want to wake up when I am 50 and say what if I would have... I don't want to be that person. So I refuse to be.

Sleep on this, and wake up tomorrow with DRIVE. MOTIVATION. and PASSION to live the life you've always wanted.
The life you desire is absolutely doable. believe and know you can make it happen.
