My Ideal Living Room Space

Hi There!

I've been envisioning what my future home would look like one day when I am an adult ;) and married with a cute baby puppy...because being married is when you actually are officially an adult, right? {sarcasm} Good Lord, what a joke!

Anyway, so I'm always obsessing over interiors so I thought well why not play around with what my future living room could possibly look like. Obviously, just the general feel of a space all on its own will play a huge role in what type of look and feel I want to go with but if I were just picturing the open and airy {preferably tropical location} living room that I dream of, these are a few pieces of furniture that I would   l o v e   to have in my home one day!

I love all grays, whites, dark dark navy blues, creams, and golds.

Pretty Stationery!

Hi Friends! Good Golly I've missed my little blog the past few days. I have no idea how time slips by so fast. I guess that's what happens when you're having so much fun, right?

Last weekend Aaron and I made a fun little weekend trip to Huntsville! We went to visit the Bestie and her husband! We stayed Saturday night and enjoyed going to church with them on Sunday. That Saturday was SOOOOOO much fun. I talked them all into going to a Hockey game with me. SCORE! and yes, the Huntsville Havoc killed the Mississippi River Kings. I hope I can catch at least one more Hockey game before the season is over. I just love that sport so much! Anyway, after the game, we went to Bridgestreet and had a wonderful dinner and lots of talking and catching up to do!

If you don't know what Frances (The BESTIE) is a PRO at, she is a Stationery Designer! So all things pretty that goes on paper, she designs! So naturally hearing her talk about all the brides she works with and hearing about invitations and stuff has gotten my brain g o i n g. I can't WAIT for that stage for Aaron and I and I can't wait for Frances to help me find the perfect Invitation when that times comes.  How gorgeous are all of those...and thats o n l y a few. Like I said, just thinking about all of those things makes me so so excited. I love the creativity that is involved. I also personally know the amount of passion and love that is put into each and every piece!

It's almost the weekend and I'm ecstatic about that. Also there are a few things changing in my life within the next two weeks and I can't wait to share with all of you.

Top Two...its B A C K

If you have been reading my blog for a couple of years, you might remember me doing a post every tuesday called Top Two. This goes a couple of years back. There was a gal who was a fantastic blogger who Hosted a Top Two Tuesday post, and so so so many other bloggers would join in on her fun!!! She would post a topic every tuesday, and it was always so much fun. If I remember correctly the girl who hosted it got sick or something, and took a break from blogging. Well well.....

Here it is! My beautiful new Workspace.

I am completely obsessed with it and is definitely motivation to get work done. Here are a few things that I think will help you get motivated, as well as inspired.

Workspace Inspiration!

WORKSPACES!

ello! I am heading back to Florence soon. Just for a few days. I'll be back in Birmingham for the Thanksgiving Holiday on Wednesday and I cant W A I  T! I am so so sooo ready to spend time with the people that mean more to me than anything. 

This wedding weekend was so great because I did get extra time with family that I dont get to see that much. It was wonderful. 

I am blessed enough today to happily say that I added a new addition to my design & blogging team :) A new beautiful iMac.

So, naturally I am scheming ways to make it sit in a space that is as inspiring as possible. 

Here are a few spaces of inspiration.

I love the wood planks in this space. It's wonderful!!!

This space I love the lights streaming down in the back as well as the art displayed on the wall. Also in my new workspace, I DO NOT want my back facing the door. I cant stand sitting with my back to the door. BAD BAD Feng Shui! Actually I think any electronic device is technically bad Feng Shui in a bedroom ;)

I am OBSESSED with the wire legs! I want want want!!!!

This PAINTING is a beauty!!! I love love l o v e.

As far as my workspace, I want this to be in my room. My room is a tiny space, but I've really made the room appear very large. I am hoping that the plan in my head works out and my room might even look larger after adding a few more things to is. It's all about the layout and floor plans of a space. There is always a way to get the maximum use out of a space. It just takes some patience and a lot of thought process. "...at the end of this rope and I'm letting it go."

hey hey 

I've been reading a whole lot lately.

AND the best thing about that is I've been more motivated and inspired than I have been since I moved here. I don't know why it has taken me so long to get back into my creative thinking and being. Where have I been over the last year. 

I've always thought I was pretty good at change and getting in the groove of new things, but over the past year I have had a hard time. I haven't been able to put my finger on exactly what has been in my way and I don't know that I ever will know. But what I do know is that personally, I have come to the very end of this rope and I'm letting it go. I'm over being complacent. I'm over being average. I'm over thinking inside of this box of normality. I'm getting back to the heart and soul of everything I have ever worked so hard for. 

What have you worked hard for? What are you awesome at? Is something standing in your way of being the best at what you do? Is it doubt? Is it certain relationships? Is it your current job? If so, join me in demolishing it. Get rid of it and do what you were created to do. I don't know about you, but I don't want to wake up when I am 50 and say what if I would have... I don't want to be that person. So I refuse to be.

Sleep on this, and wake up tomorrow with DRIVE. MOTIVATION. and PASSION to live the life you've always wanted.

The life you desire is absolutely doable. believe and know you can make it happen.
