Top Two and HAWAII

Hey there!!

It's already January 6th? Where is January going?

Its' the first TOP TWO of 2015

and this week its all about GOALS for this year

So here you go... TOP TWO TIME!

NUMBER ONE

 Worry Less. Smile More. Don't Regret. Just Learn. And GROW.

I know I have a really awesome and blessed life but sometimes we are all guilty of taking the life we have for Granted. I want to make the most out of what I have been given. I want to dive into ever single opportunity head first without questioning, without over thinking, and without freaking doubting myself. 

NUMBER TWO

Be a complete SPONGE the entire year. 

I want to learn. I want to grow. I want to become a better me. I want to go places. I want to move places. I want to BE the person that God has called me to be. 

I want to BE where God wants me to be. 

So with that I come to this....

I leave in NINE days on the 15th of January for a month long adventure. Its an opportunity that if God wouldnt have been there to open doors, I wouldnt have the opportunity to see the things I am going to see. 

I will be in both Maui and Oahu for both fun as well as business. 

I am SO thankful to be able to go. However, I am concerned though because I as well as my whole family have always known that God gave me the heart to GO. He didnt create me with the desire to be a hometown girl who is comfortable with staying in the same town that she grew up in. He gave me an adventurous heart and I am so glad that he did. With that being said, I am worried that going to Hawaii will change my whole life. You know what drives me crazy about life....the NOT knowing. I like to know whats ahead, I like to have a plan, I like to stick to the plan. But I have always known and said that God's plan is always far better than our own and is usually a plan that we cant even comprehend. While I am in hawaii, I want to figure out and know exactly the reason that God has me there for a month. I want him to use me for exactly that reason. I hope my talents are used. I hope he uses me to take a stressful load off of someone. I just don't want to be there to be there....I want to be there to make a difference for someone, whatever that difference is. 

I want this trip to completely transform my life because its a once in a lifetime chance for me. AHHH I can't wait!

OH MAN... They have it in a Vneck

The campaign going on right now on their site gives back to Operation Christmas Child with is an organization that my church has helped raise for my whole life!!

This shirt is an amazing reminder. Really, if we all loved each other, and treated one another how we would like to be treated then we would live in a much better society.

I know its easier said than done, but it is possible, and the more your practice loving others, the easier it becomes. Just Love People!!!

TOP TWO: Holiday Traditions

Helllllooooo Dear!

Happy Tuesday. You guys, My monday was FANTASTIC! I got to spend time with my BEST FRIEND. She was in town at UAB. Thank the Good Lord everything went fantastic with all of that. But I was SO excited to spend good time with Frances and see the rest of the crew. 

I love those people SOOOOO much and miss being able to see Francelina Mae any time I want. 

Anywhoooooo It is T U E S D A Y

which means its time for a little Top Two sharing.

Absolutely without a DOUBT this is number ONE.

Christmas Stockings.

This is seriously one of mine and my brothers favorite things on Christmas Morning.

Mom gets the B E S T stocking stuffers EVER.

We open these last every year.

Matching Pajamas on Christmas Eve with my Seesters!

EEEEEEEK. 

Auntie gets us a matching pair every year and I always LOVE what she picks out.

Gee how we all have changed over the last few years. 

But what never changes is the bond that the four of us have.

These girls mean the world to me and will always be my sisters at heart.

Christmas Eve with them is always the BEST. 

So thank you Auntie Stacey for making a tradition that definitely by FAR is one of my favorites every single year!

TOP TWO: Holiday Cooking Traditions

It's time for this weeks TOP TWO!

This week is all about the Holiday Traditions.

I know for most of us, there are always family traditions that we just absolutely look forward to every year around the holidays. As soon as that excitement is fulfilled every season, its like that anxious feeling for a year to pass is immediately back. There is just something about the Holiday season that makes you H A P P Y. Or maybe I'm just a weirdo....Or maybe I know that at the heart of the whole season, perfection was born to this world just so I can live.

SO, Clearly I love love loved the holidays!

Okay so here are only TWO of my very many favorite holiday cooking traditions!

NUMBER ONE:

Cinnamon Rolls on Christmas Eve 

They are so simple and made from Crescent Rolls!

I know I know...I don't eat Cinnamon Rolls. But, I do however L O V E baking and I love making these on Christmas Eve with my Nanny. 

Two years ago, my nanny and I were cooking away on Christmas Eve Morning and we realized we didn't have the crescent rolls we needed. So, what do you do?? You send PawPaw to the grocery to grab them!? Wrong. He came back with Garlic Buttered Crescent Rolls. 

So needless to say, the Cinnamon Rolls didn't happen that year. But it sure was funny to joke about.

NUMBER TWO:

My Grandmommy is a WONDERFUL cook. Breakfast at her house on Christmas Day is always so delicious. Every year we all look SO forward to her Sticky Buns. They are the best on planet. Swear by it. The whole breakfast at her house is perfection, but the sticky buns are definitely the Star dish for the morning!

Top Two: Holiday Edition!!!

Hey Friends!!!

I am F I N A L L Y back to my normal office. normal desk. normal hours. normal attire. and I can honestly say YES I love it!! This also means I will finally be back to my regular blog posts, thank the good Lord!

So Tuesday usually means Top Two Tuesday. So, I figured from now until Christmas, all of these Top Two Post will be centered around the Holidays!!! Y E S, who doesn't love a good holiday post?!? Top Two...its B A C K

If you have been reading my blog for a couple of years, you might remember me doing a post every tuesday called Top Two. This goes a couple of years back. There was a gal who was a fantastic blogger who Hosted a Top Two Tuesday post, and so so so many other bloggers would join in on her fun!!! She would post a topic every tuesday, and it was always so much fun. If I remember correctly the girl who hosted it got sick or something, and took a break from blogging.
