Asking & Wanting

Hi hi!!
"I shifted from asking to receive something, and hoping it would be granted, to simply declaring my desire in all honesty. I immersed myself in the wanting, not the asking, not the pleading, not the striving, just the very pure wanting. It was the only thing I could verify. It was the only thing I could be sure of."

If I want something, I go after it. But what would be the point if you didn't completely believe you can obtain it. I think the driving force is desire. For me, I want to explore every facet of my life....my ONE life. 

 I don't by any means think that we have complete control over every tiny detail of our lives, but I do believe that to some extent we do have enough control to determine the direction that our lives take. For me at this moment I am declaring so much in my life and truly believing in it. I hope you can do the same...or at least give it a try!!!

It's Thursday friends, which means its almost the WEEKEND!!!Bye now, bB***

Who's been MIA?

I've been MIA for two days. so sorry my sweet blog friends. Sunday, which has recently turned into {blog working & reading} days at Panera was long forgotten about. I got to spend time with J instead. Monday, well....was just Monday. Especially since I didn't get my usual Monday Lunch with my pals Justin & Paul. A Monday just isn't complete without that!

I did however go to a silent auction where I scored a b e a u t i f u l set of Alabama Chanin Tea Towels. I was pretty ecstatic about winning  them.

Last night after working out, Frannie and I had FAB night:) like the old days. Lydia was there too. I painted and Francelina worked on her Engagement Scrapbook. Both of which turn out sooooo cute!

For some reason I caught a second wind last night and stayed up WAY too late. I am definitely feeling it today. DO NOT want to get out of my warms covers. 

How has your first part of the week been!?! It is Wednesday, so if you've made it this far, the rest will be a breeze. And Lucky me {and Frannie Mae}! It's a short work week. woop woop!

OH one last thing before I force myself to get ready, I have some changes that are about to happen that I haven't shared. Will share later.

hey hey 

I've been reading a whole lot lately.

AND the best thing about that is I've been more motivated and inspired than I have been since I moved here. I don't know why it has taken me so long to get back into my creative thinking and being. Where have I been over the last year. 

I've always thought I was pretty good at change and getting in the groove of new things, but over the past year I have had a hard time. I haven't been able to put my finger on exactly what has been in my way and I don't know that I ever will know. But what I do know is that personally, I have come to the very end of this rope and I'm letting it go. I'm over being complacent. I'm over being average. I'm over thinking inside of this box of normality. I'm getting back to the heart and soul of everything I have ever worked so hard for. 

What have you worked hard for? What are you awesome at? Is something standing in your way of being the best at what you do? Is it doubt? Is it certain relationships? Is it your current job? If so, join me in demolishing it. Get rid of it and do what you were created to do. I don't know about you, but I don't want to wake up when I am 50 and say what if I would have... I don't want to be that person. So I refuse to be.

Sleep on this, and wake up tomorrow with DRIVE. MOTIVATION. and PASSION to live the life you've always wanted.

The life you desire is absolutely doable. believe and know you can make it happen.

Inspiring. Weekend. Fun.

It is F R I D A Y my dear friends and I'm over-the-moon about that. As soon as I get out of work, I am heading to BIRMINGHAM. 

Fun fun FUN weekend ahead. My poppie & nanny are taking me to the Auburn Game, then later we are going to see those handsome john & jacob fellas.

Can't wait to see them:) makes me soooo very happy. 

The only thing I am worried about for the weekend is those auburn tigers....please please oh please let them win. Don't want to be in an ill mood after the game....I also don't want the rest of the fam to be ill either!!

I snapped a photo this week of something I wrote in my planner when I bought it. The first day I got it, I went through every month and wrote something to inspire me for that Month. This is the quote and boy oh boy did I need it. You know...at the end of the day, what is standing in my way of the things I love?!? I know that answer and its very simple. It's M E 

A very inspiring little lady commented on my photo and her comment is dead on.

Sweet lynds is right smack dab in the middle of a six or seven week travel all through Europe {completely solo on her own}, something that she has always DREAMED of doing. Shes just traveling, going with the flow. She took the first step and I'm pretty sure that first step for her was a gigantic and terrifying move. But, she did it anyway, and now she seems incredibly happy with the decision she made. 

Honestly this girl is so inspiring. Lyndsie, Keep on living it up in Europe! You're an amazing gal and I can't wait wait wait to hear all about your travels. I N S P I R I N G my dear. so so inspiring. <3

Last night two of my favorite guys came to visit me. They are currently still snoozing. I believe they are going to fish today! I hope they stop by and see me at work. They better!!! 

I just love that picture of us. My brother and I look so much alike in this picture. That doesn't happen too often.

Well, It's 7am and I'm sitting here without any makeup on, I have to pack for the ham and get these boys up all before 8! woooooo better go.
