Dear September

Please slow down.
Time is just flying by.
It's so true that time flies when you're having fun.

I've already been in Birmingham for a whole month and Gypsy and I are having such a blast.

Today I am traveling to Nashville to meet with one of the photographers I work for.
The whole plan was to take Gyp Gyp along with me. However when I told my mom, she responded with, "Just leave Gypsy here with me! She hasn't been here all weekend!!" Someone must have missed little Gyps. I'm so glad my mom loves her;)
And Poor Girl, she probably would rather stay home with my mom. I've had her going going going all weekend. haha I'm just trying to show Gypsy the life of a real life Gypsy. Sometimes I swear I feel like I really really am one.

Ya'll it's been such a fun weekend!

I went Hiking with Mel B, I got to spend a lot of time with people I care so much about. I got to grill with my family. I got to watch football with fantastic company. I got to relax and cuddle with not just Gypsy but with Pika & Pippi {My aunt and uncles dogs} too!!!
and I watched Music Festivals on Palladia #outdoorweek

I'm excited for this week! I'm excited to accomplish my to do list. Mark off some to dos on the business side of things.

September is going to be a GREAT month!

2013 favorite memories

Its on this day every single year that I realize HOLY SCHIKEY I had an amazingly BLESSED year!!! Its also on this day every year that I am super thankful for all of the photos I snap over the year. I've made so many memories during 2013 and all of my photos make my heart incredibly happy to look at.

Walking out of work yesterday, we were joking around about the year. We all made the comment that 2013 was definitely NOT our favorite year of our lives. It wasn't. It hasn't. and now its over with. Just quickly thinking about 2013 I'm immediately B L A H about it. I feel like I didnt accomplish anything. I didnt help anyone. I didnt do anything for the good. I didn't move forward in anything I just was STUCK the whole year it seems. Until just recently. Thank GOD he has the big picture of my life and knows what is ahead. That's EXACTLY why I trust him with everything. However after looking back through my pictures I quickly realized that I obviously take things for granted. I've had an absolutely i n c r e d i b l e year.

I had trip after trip after trip, Florida, Charlotte, Atlanta, Nashville, etc.
God put me in a church that has changed my entire view on people and life as a whole,
I got settled into my own little place here,
God gave me a brand new group of friends that mean more to me than anything,
I got to spend a good amount of time with J. Not as much as  I would love, but ill gladly take whatever time with him I can get.
I Handyfested hard!
My BEST FRIEND got flipping ENGAGED.
I was MAID OF HONOR for my two best friends at the SAME TIME. whoaaaa!
Lyssa Lou got married to the man of her dreams.
I got to see the Auburn Tigers play.
I saw John & Jacob play a lot!
Had lots of Family time!
I was gifted my absolute favorite striped shirt.
I got to be Zorro for a night.
I got a new oil changing and weekend music listening pal.
I worked my tush off with my best friend at PSI
I got offered a new job that I am head over heels about.
I got lots of Adam family time.
I went to the rockin-est Christmas Party ;)
My bham friends came and stayed in Flo with me!
SO many good good good things happened in 2013 and I am ashamed for a second I thought otherwise.

Christmas FUN!

This Christmas was great! I had such a great time. I always LOVE being home.
When I got home I spent time with the family. We just finished wrapping a few things…I think? The whole holiday actually just seems like a quick blur.

Christmas Eve Eve, I always spend the night with my Nanny & Paw Paw and the other girls too. Christmas Eve day I woke up early helped with cooking a little then we all had breakfast together. This is my Mommas side of the fam. So we had breakfast and then opened gifts. We spend the entire day over with them. It's so fun. I love it.

We have matching PJs every year. I will never ever be too old for matching PJs with my baby sisters and they won't be either! Their the BEST and I love them more than they will ever know.
Cooper was a sweetie…well at least for a little bit while I held him. He was cuddling cuddling cuddling and I loved it!

My nanny & pawpaw always get us so much, not just on Christmas but throughout the entire year. They will never ever know how grateful I am for them. They are the biggest blessing.

Christmas Eve night I spent time with my favorite guy and his family. It was FUN!
This was the only photo from Tuesday night that I ended up with. Jenna is one of the prettiest ladies I've ever seen. Her makeup is perfect….ALL THE TIME.
It was such a blast though hanging with them though. Super sad I don't have a picture with J.
Oh wellll…..Maybe next year ;)

Christmas Day we always get up SUPER early and open gifts, my brother & I. After that we RUSH out of the house to get to my grandmommy and granddaddies house. We have breakfast {the best ever} then open gifts. After that we head to my Meme's for Lunch {the best ever} then we open gifts there too. Here are some photos from Christmas Day!

Over the Thanksgiving Holiday I took my meme for her first ever John & Jacob show. She fell in love. SO for her gift mom surprised her with a J&J tee. She LOVED. Of course she did, right? Love her. Love them. Love this.

Here are a few of my favorite random photos from the holiday.

Today on the drive down i65 I passed this and it put a little bit of pep in my step, warmth in my heart, and hope for the future.
That's all for tonight. I hope you enjoyed my photos and more importantly I hope you took lots of Christmas photos of your own. If not…you have one more holiday to make up for it!
Whats everyone doing for New Years?! I hope something SUPER fun!

Bye for tonight,

Catching Fire.

Last night I hit the road as quick as I could to Birmingham. I couldn't wait to get home to get this Thanksgiving started.
As soon as I made it to the house, I jumped right back in the car with J. He's so precious ♥
We went to see Catching Fire along with my mom, Mrs. Rhonda, Jenna & Jonah. {Good ole Family time!} haha. I l o v e being with them.
Catching Fire was great. I LOVE Jennifer Lawrence. She is stunning! It was driving me crazy during the movie because I couldn't remember anything from the book whatsoever. Obviously, I would remember as it was happening.

Of course, my favorite character in the books the entire time I read them was Cinna. He is KE's STYLIST and you all know thats my ultimate dream. One of the main detailed things I remember from the book is that President Snow wants Katniss to wear a wedding dress at one of the ceremonies before the game starts. Cinna recreates that dress and during the ceremony as Katniss twirls around in the dress it transforms from a bright white bridal gown to a stunning deep dark Mocking Jay. It's beautiful. So clearly Cinna is BRILLIANT. He isn't just a stylist. He's a designer. He's an ARTIST. b r i l l i a n t.

LOVE HIM....because of his oh so Brave creation, some sad things happen that are pretty devastating. That didn't change in the movie and again, I was devastated.

So my night was GREAT. Loved spending it with people that mean a whole-freakin-lot to me. When I say a whole-freakin-lot, I really r e a l l y mean that. whole heartedly.

Would you do something Brave like Cinna did for someone you love? Even if that means risking your own life? Think about it. If so....what is that person to you? Do they know that you would do absolutely anything for them? If not...Tell them.

Bye now,
