Morning Sunshines!!!

I had some seriously awesome input on my packing list. Thanks to everyone who helped out with that. I have started packing...well, sort of. I've started getting stuff out I guess I should say. 

I asked my friends on Facebook what books they would recommend and I had so many people help me with that as well. Last night I went to 2nd & Charles with my friends Chris & Melissa. Unfortunately they didnt have any of the books I really wanted. I did get a book though that is part of Book Crossing. So that's fun! Book Crossing is where you put a tag on your book, log onto their website, log where you are from and your thoughts about the book, then you release the book and ship it somewhere else. So it just tracks all of the locations that the book has been read at. I am excited to hopefully release this book in Hawaii. The book I bought is called "Friends Like These." By Danny Wallace. I will let you know how the book is for sure!!! The books I R E A L L Y wanted was a trilogy that my friend Leah told me about.  The All Souls Trilogy by Deborah Harkness.

 I was SO so bummed out when 2nd&c didnt have the books. They had the 3rd book of the trilogy but that did me no good. So, I am still hoping to get a few more books! It's times like these when I really just wish I had a kindle.

January 2015...on a MISSION!

I'm on mission friends. Why?? 

because I am going to H A W A I I 

I'm on a mission because I want to look the best I have ever looked in my life.

Since I've been back in Birmingham, I have been going to yoga or doing yoga at least 5 days a week. Just recently I exchanged two of those yoga days for Barre days. 

Barre is so g r e a t and very challenging. I love it. If you have worked out with me before, you know I can work myself to death and barely sweat a drop and it wasn't because I wasn't working hard. I was!!! But Barre, it really kicks my tail and whats crazy is, the movements you do are smaller than an inch!! IF you have never tried Barre, I really do suggest you giving it a go!!

On some Barre days, I will still go to yoga in the evening just because Yoga is really what I love. It's what works for my body. I missed it so much when I was living in Florence. I couldn't ever go to any classes because they were always while I was at work. but NOW I can go at whatever time I want to!!! Thank the LORD!!

I just L O V E it. I am being consistent and patient. I know I will see change!!

Since I am sending Gypsy to the island in November, I think that it will be the perfect timing for me to visit her. Of course I can't wait to spend time with Faith and Dan, but Gyp Gyp has become my little pal these last few months {she is laying right next to me as I type this...and she is snoozing away.} and I know giving her back is going to be super super tough on me. 

Man oh Man!!! I am definitely planning the start of 2015 off right!!! I have a photography conference in Destin, and then right after is Hawaii!!! Come on...the photography conference is technically Business related right?!?

Anyway, I am super stoked to go to Hawaii and I really really can NOT wait!

I'll keep you updated on my journey!

Music Midtown Trip!

Hi hi!!!

This weekend is going to way too much fun. 

My best guy pal {William} and I will be having a three day road trip to Atlanta.

Music Midtown is happening on Friday and Saturday. We are 

B E Y O N D excited!!

We have been waiting and waiting on this weekend to get here for what seems like forever. We are seeing some really great artists! Despite the horrible schedule, we both know that this trip will be one for the books.

I'm so excited about the lineup for Friday! However, the scheduling is a little whack. Jack White & John Mayer are at the same time. WHY? Makes absolutely Z E R O since. Also, Iggy & Lorde overlap. No. Crazy. Stupid.

I am sure it is very very hard to do the scheduling for an event like this, but really?? When MM released the times a few weeks ago, social media blew up over the conflicts. Not good. I think everyone has cooled off a little now. I'm still just as excited to go, just annoyed that I'm having to CHOOSE between John & Jack, Iggy & Lorde.

A Birthday Trip to Nashville

Hi hi!!!

Tuesday night, My mom and I, along with my Cousin Alyssa, my Aunt Deneen, and her sister Joan, all took a fun little overnight trip to Nashville. It was a full day of celebrating my Aunts 50th Birthday!! 

I am only 6 months older than Alyssa! So, ever since we were teeny tiny, up until we went to separate high schools we were attached at the hip. Although we went to separate schools, and both formed fun lives away from each other, Lyssa Lou will always be one of my closest girlfriends, and someone I know I can go to and talk to when I need anything!!! I say all of this to say that any chance I get to spend time with them, I take it! They are seriously a bunch of goofballs and make me laugh so hard. My mom and my Aunt Deneen are really NO GOOD for each other. 

Anyway, here are a few photos from out fun little and short trip. 

We basically just roamed around Nashville for a little bit. My aunt hadn't ever been so that's what she wanted to do for her Birthday...totally fine by me:)

We stayed a few hours downtown until we were hungry! Then we made our way to the Loveless Cafe! So goooooooood. After that we drove to Franklin. I wanted them to see how f a n t a s t i c it is there. I'm seriously in love with that adorable town. gee I want to move NOW! After Franklin, we stopped for coffee and then made our way back to Alabama! It really was a fun fun trip. Gee though....those two sisters are the biggest worriers on the planet I do believe. haha. R E L A X a little ;)

I loved getting to spend time with them! I loved spending time with Lyssa Lou. I loved spending time with my momsie. Gee! such a good time.

Franklin Adventure

Hello There!

On Tuesday, I had a business meeting in Franklin, Tennessee. 

It was an early drive to Franklin, and my meeting was at 11AM.

The meeting was short. sweet. to the point.

I got to meet Sarah, one of the girls I email back and forth with a whole lot. So that was great. 

I got a tour of Erin's Studio, and her husbands recording studio as well!! He is a producer:)

I got to see inside the workspace, their workflow. Which is really helpful for me to see!!

It was a really great meeting. 

After my meeting, I just sort of made a day of being in Franklin. 

I had never been to Franklin before and I had been told that it was a super neato town! So, naturally I just had to go explore it and see so for myself. 

Here are few photos from my adventurous day. 

I went to the COOLEST of COOLEST coffee shops. 

It's called High Brow Brew.

I got a Spicy Mocha. It was the best coffee I have ever had in my life.

I honestly cannot wait to go back and have more. 

I walked down the main street of downtown.

They had a lot of eating places. A lot of boutiques. Anthropology. Starbucks. and Antique shops.

The streets were also filled with people and I even saw a musician playing her violin...just in the middle of a Tuesday afternoon :)

I had a super late lunch at The Bunganut Pig Pub & Eatery.

My waitress was the sweetest lady! We really connected over conversation about photography!

It was a really pleasant and enjoyable lunch!

I will definitely be staying in touch with Marybeth and Definitely going back to FRANKLIN

In all honestly....I would move there right this second if that was an option!

 Who knows what the future holds my friends....who KNOWS..

Holiday Weekend!

Hi Hi!!! 

How was your long Holiday weekend??

Mine was G R E A T!

First of all...I got to see The Local Saints play on Thursday night <3 

Love those guys. It made me S O O O O o o o o excited for Handy Fest!

On the 4th, I may be slightly guilty of working a little bit. I am a little covered up with work right now, and NO I didn't get completely caught up. But at least I did get a little bit of work done. I wanted to enjoy the holiday too just like everyone else. And I did do that!

These girls. I love them. SO so much.

We had a blast on the 4th along with a bunch of other people who aren't in our photo. 

We grilled out, threw the frisbee, ate watermelon, played corn hole, etc and of course we went and watched the fireworks out on the river. We had an amazing spot too! It was a fun fun day.

Saturday I got up early for a run. After my gorgeous run downtown, I cleaned very little. ha! then packed for a short trip to Tennessee. 

My trip was fun. Good People. Good Times!!! I took zero pictures while I was in Tennessee. I didn't keep my phone with me, which always results in zero photos.

In a nutshell, this weekend was a blast. When I got back to Florence yesterday evening, I barely made it in my door, crashed on my couch, and thats where I woke up this morning. I'm super glad I woke up on time!

I'm off to work. Oh AND this whole month I am doing posts of my outfits on Instagram. You should follow if you don't :) It's a great way to stay inspired with your clothing and a great way to get ideas for future use!  Insta: Itsybitsybrianna

HAPPY WEDNESDAY LOVES!!!

This week has been way too much fun so far and its only Wednesday.

Monday I drove back to Florence from my weekend in Birmingham. I love that drive. For some reason it never gets old. I got an awesome new hat one day last week and had been dying to wear it. I finally wore it on Monday. I'm in l o v e with the hat. It's by Levi's Jeans. It's red. It's Simple.

Monday's work day felt like it didn't even exist it went by so fast!

Such a productive day. 

Yesterday, Faith and I went to one of my favorite places, Nashville, Tennessee. 

We went to a Photography Conference by KelbyOne. Scott Kelby is hilarious and really really knows his photography stuff. 

The day went by way way way too fast. 

I didn't want it to end at all. 

Faith and I have so much fun together. She's the sweetest lady. She is such a blessing to me!!! I really don't know what I would be doing with my life now if God wouldn't had put her in my path. Now I honestly can't even, nor do I want to imagine my life without her & Dan being a part of it. They really are like family to me!

After the fun day of learning, learning, and learning, we went to one of my favorite restaurants in Nashville.

Faith had the Fish Tacos and I had the Kale Salad...then of course we had S'mores for desert! It was so fun:) and so so delicious. 

So that was my trip to Nashville yesterday. Like I said, I didn't want to leave at all. I love that place! I love the feeling it gives me, the people are insanely friendly, there are so many interesting places and interesting people to see. Faith and I are already planning our next trip!

How has your week been so far?? My Mom is coming to Flotown today!! So so solo excited!
