Let's Go Blues!!

Hi There!

First of all, Happy Saturday.

This week has been Busy and FUN.

Thursday night, Raegy and drove to see her St. Louis Blues play against the Nashville Preds. It was an A W E S O M E game. Unfortunately the Blues lost by 1. It was still WAY too much fun. We were sitting on the Ice and it was COLD. I can't believe Raeghan is 21. Where the heck does time go??!

I love going to Nashville. Its always so lively. Raeghan had just as much fun as I did. We had dinner at Merchants. Im not sure why but I just love that place! I think its simply because everything is Black & White!!! Dinner was great and our server was awesome! We basically just people watched for the rest of the night after the game.

Friday morning I got up early to go run for a bit while Raeghan studied for Math. BOO on that one! After she finished studying, we headed out, stopping for coffee of course! We stopped at The Well. This place gives money to build water Wells in Africa. So YES we loved supporting that! Here are a few photos of this fantastic business that I will be sure to stop by every time I make it to Nash.

Christmas Want

Well Hello.....

If you didn't notice above, all I want for Christmas is a new camera.

YES! Thats it ;)

So if you're purchasing me a Christmas gift this year, please do your friend a favor and just donate to the cause. hahaha! I want this SO sooooo bad. I have such a great idea in my head and I can't start on it until I get a new camera!

So the Iron Bowl didnt end exactly how I would have liked but to be quite honest I really dont care THAT much about football. I did want Auburn to win but at least it was a close scoring game. 

On to a sport I actually DO care about, Raeghan and I are going to Nashville on Thursday to see the Blues and Preds play. Good Golly I PRAY the Blues win!!!!!! 

I can't wait wait wait to go!!!

A Birthday Trip to Nashville

Hi hi!!!

Tuesday night, My mom and I, along with my Cousin Alyssa, my Aunt Deneen, and her sister Joan, all took a fun little overnight trip to Nashville. It was a full day of celebrating my Aunts 50th Birthday!! 

I am only 6 months older than Alyssa! So, ever since we were teeny tiny, up until we went to separate high schools we were attached at the hip. Although we went to separate schools, and both formed fun lives away from each other, Lyssa Lou will always be one of my closest girlfriends, and someone I know I can go to and talk to when I need anything!!! I say all of this to say that any chance I get to spend time with them, I take it! They are seriously a bunch of goofballs and make me laugh so hard. My mom and my Aunt Deneen are really NO GOOD for each other. 

Anyway, here are a few photos from out fun little and short trip. 

We basically just roamed around Nashville for a little bit. My aunt hadn't ever been so that's what she wanted to do for her Birthday...totally fine by me:)

We stayed a few hours downtown until we were hungry! Then we made our way to the Loveless Cafe! So goooooooood. After that we drove to Franklin. I wanted them to see how f a n t a s t i c it is there. I'm seriously in love with that adorable town. gee I want to move NOW! After Franklin, we stopped for coffee and then made our way back to Alabama! It really was a fun fun trip. Gee though....those two sisters are the biggest worriers on the planet I do believe. haha. R E L A X a little ;)

I loved getting to spend time with them! I loved spending time with Lyssa Lou. I loved spending time with my momsie. Gee! such a good time.

France's is the best and surprised me with Tickets for my Birthday.

So she & I will be taking a little road trip today after our half-day of working.

We are leaving early so we can enjoy the trip. Frannie and I haven't had any just for fun time since long before her wedding, so...It's definitely overdue. 

It's going to be another FAB memory that will probably make it's way to the favorites list pretty fast. We have made so many fun memories over the past five years. I can't imagine life without Frances in it. If you're new to my blog, you can read my latest post on our friendship here.

Road Trip Weekend!

Raegy and I had the most fun Road Trip to Nashville this weekend. 

We drove up Thursday night to see the Predators and the Bolts play.

It was such a fun time and I can't wait to go again!!!

After the game we had a super late dinner at Merchants. We were starving because we had zero time to go before the game.

Friday we spent the morning in the hotel room and enjoyed every single second of it.

I hit the gym for a good solid hour and a half. I just lost track of time and was just enjoying the relaxation. We left the hotel at noon and went to explore all over Nashville.

After we explored. We left Nashville and headed to Huntsville to catch the Havoc play Bloomington. Friday we were pulling Bloomington because Mr. BJ O'Brien got us tickets. Unfortunately they didn't win, but it was an awesome game!

Such a FUN FUN FUN two days! We have had a great weekend and Ill show you the other two days tomorrow!!

YES! Celebration.

It's my F R I D A Y loves.

I'm pretty much over-the-the-moon and back about it. And the icing on the cake is that Raeghan will be here when I get off and will be here until MONDAY! How amazing is that. We went an entire weekend without seeing each other which hasn't happened in almost two months. So glad she's back in my life so stinking much.

Tonight we are heading to Nashville for a little fun. H O C K E Y. 

There's a special reason that I bought these tickets for us. 

I bought them for a Valentines Day gift to us simply because I am proud of the women that we have grown into. Yes, we are both single but I didn't buy them on the Lovey Dovey day just to make ourselves feel better, the reason is so much more than just that fact. There is no reason at all to mope around on Valentines Day just because you don't have anyone to share that day with. WE DO!! There are SO many people to love on every single day. 

Raeghan and I both have chosen to live our lives by the word of God and stay true to Purity.

Despite how difficult and frustrating it can be, we know that God is so much stronger than any desire that we could ever feel. I know that waiting on my guy, the perfect guy, will be completely worth the wait, the frustration and sometimes even a lot of heartache. 

I've figured out over the last year that there are so many more things in this life to focus on other than finding my guy. For me, it can be a trust issue with God sometimes and it can be really easy to wonder why I'm doing everything the right way, and still he isn't showing up. 

I trust and know God has someone amazing for me and his plan is all I want for my life. 

So, this is what our weekend is all about. Celebrating that fact that God has given us both the strength and his perfect wisdom to stay true to the vow that we have made. It is something to be proud of and I am!

Full Service + Nashville

Hey. Well by now, you must know that Sunday is clearly my favorite day of the week. I love my church family and I love spending any time with them that I can!

We all went to Wildwood Park in downtown Florence and worked on the Bike Trails. We trimmed the trees, raked leaves, had FUN, and formed lots of new relationships. I love that Raeghan has been coming and just fit right in with the crew. It's been such a blast having her here. We laughed the entire time we worked. Will taught Raegy how to drive the four-wheeler and as soon as we were about to take it for a spin, it was taken from us :( We worked from like 9 until around 1ish! It was so fun working and knowing that although it seemed small, it definitely will impact the people who walk/run/bike these trails everyday! So rewarding knowing that. It was fun to actually BE THE CHURCH outside of four walls, just how its supposed to be!

After we worked Raeghan and I went with Will to Panera...for the third time of the weekend haha. So we had a nice lunch, went home and actually decided that we were indeed going to Nashville later that afternoon to meet up for dinner with my friend Zac.

The drive to Nashy was...well interesting. We listened to GREAT worship music the whole drive. We talked. We made up worst-case scenario stories. We had our first Road Trip with just the two of us. AND Raeghan had never been to Nashville, so that only made it more exciting!

After we met Zac, we went and got Sushi. That was also a first for Raeghan! I'm not sure if she will ever eat it again, but she did try it! After dinner we took her downtown to explore a little and we listened to some music.

It was a GREAT night. I laughed the entire night. Zac is hilarious. So much fun and completely worth the drive even if it was for just a few hours. Can't wait to go back....to see the Preds.

Nashville FUN

Hi hi!! 

Just got home from Nashy a few hours ago. First of all, I l o v e d more than anything being around the three ladies I went with. I loved getting to know them a little more.

Faith is honestly the sweetest person I have ever met. I am beyond beyond beyonnnnnd grateful to have her as a boss. Can't even believe sometimes that God, once again, has put the perfect people in my path. Blows my mind. 

Dawn, who is also a sweetie is HILARIOUS. She's reminds me a whole lot of my Meme and let me just say that in itself is a gigantor compliment. I loved hearing about her daughters and their love stories. haha! 

Mattie is seriously a GEM. We are so much alike its kind of creepy.  She loves fashion and Jesus.

and honestly....what more do you need in life? Just kidding! We really do have very very similar lifestyles and beliefs and I can just tell she is such a light to people.

I absolutely loved every second of getting to know these ladies.

We had a lot of fun shopping in Nashville. oh, except for that moment in Victoria's Secret when it was eight million degrees with eight million people throwing underwear everywhere because it was 75% off. We went to some great stores. For some reason though I didn't have too much luck. I bought one top from F21 {wearing above}, a new makeup bag, and a nice new adorable tea pot and fresh Strawberry & Peach Champagne Tea from Teavana. 

The regret of the shopping trip was not buying this top from Free People. 

I W A N T....seriously? what was I thinking? Ah clearly I wasn't. 

Mattie got the most perfect pieces from FP. They looked adorable on her. unfortunately I didn't snag a picture. Maybe when she wears it, she can send me one to show! SO PERFECT!

We not only shopped well, we ate well. We went to Brick Tops on the way in to Nashville. We had dinner at the Cheesecake Factory {and shopped while we waited, SCORE!} This morning we went to The Pfunky Griddle which was really a fun place to people watch! haha.

Calling this weekend a wrap feeling insanely blessed and grateful.
