Hi Hi HI!!

Where on earth have I been?!?! I know I know....its been a few days and way too long since I have had time to post. This last week has been nothing but F U N.

SYNC was fantastic and I learned SO much, met great photographers, and made new  friends. 

I also got to spend the night with my Bestest, Francelina Mae Mae for a night. Catch up on life and telly with her. Gah I miss her!

 I also Got to have lunch with Harry in downtown Montgomery at Central. It was an awesome restaraunt. The decor was completely 100% my style and taste. If you're ever in DT Mont. Definitely stop by!!

I got to see Julie, along with the sweet pups Ollie Wolly & Bootsie

I also got to spend an entire day in Florence <3 See Mary Mac, Trueman, Katie Bug & Harpie!

Thursday morning, I left ALABAMA for M A U I 

Harry is a sweetie and drove 3 hours just to see me before I left. I am going to be gone for a whole month so I of course was okay with it.

All of our flights were good and I honestly couldnt get to Maui fast enough. I just was SO excited to see my bud and paradise all at the same time. 

Gyp Gyp was SO excited when she saw us. 

It was awesome!!!

So here are a few photos from DAY ONE on the stunning Island of MAUI

Day one couldnt have been better!!! I saw whales, I met tons of people on the beach, had awesome fantastic delicious food, played with Gypsy, visited art galleries, FINALLY got to go to Island Cream Co. {Stop by their site!}

I will share more about Island Cream Co. in a post all on its own.

So here's to day TWO and absorbing every single moment of today!

The Start to 2 0 1 5

Hi! I know I know....I've totally been out of the little blog world for nearly a week.

So, as I told you in the last post, Harry surprised me and came to Birmingham early which was super awesome!

On New Years Eve we went to Frannie & Brent's house. F I N A L L Y my best friend got to meet Harry. Good lordy, I can't believe she is just now meeting him!!! And like most people....I think both her and Brent loved him!

So here are photos from the start of the NEW YEAR. And it's off to a wonderful start and I know it will only get better with every single day.

Here's a recap of the last week....

Wednesday night we welcomed in 2015 with the bestie and some other fun couples. 

We stayed in Madison at the Ledgewoods {I just love writing that..."The Ledgewoods} and basically slept almost the whole day. 

I think Harry and I finally left their house around 1ish or so and we were starvinggggg SO the first order of business was F O O D and someone {not me} wanted Pizza. 

We had lunch at Pie in the Sky and I have to say, I dont know if I was just super hungry or if it really was just great food. Either way it was good and our server was a sweet girl. After food, we went to Bridgestreet to the Monaco and saw Horrible Bosses 2. Ummmm I laughed pretty hard through the whole movie. I have been to the Monaco before but our movie was only showing in the Prive Theater. 21 and up+Alcohol {if you'd like}+leather reclining seats = Prive. So basically this theater was the bomb and I loved it! haha :) After the movie, we slowly made our way back to Birmingham. 

Friday, I worked....S L O W L Y. I just got new internet and guess what, I am already ready to cancel it! BLAH!  So my whole work day was spent trying to get T H R E E....yes, you read that right, three files to send! Gosh I was so frustrated. Oh I dont mean I only worked until 5. I was at it until about 9:45. Gosh I was so irritated. Thank God Harry was there to keep me sane and he is smart and understands all of that internet techy stuff which I don't at all! haha so YAY for that :) I probably would have completely pulled my hair out if he wasnt there to help. Despite the crap internet, our Arby's Dinner completely made up for the entire crappy work day. Let's just say that this was the first time that Harry saw me cry. BUT It was a good cry! It was from laughing so hard. hahaha! Oh my gosh, BEST DINNER EVER! and who can say the best dinner of their life was at Arby's. I will never forget it....ever.

Saturday was A M A Z I N G. Finally, Harry got to have his Christmas Gift. So, I got him tickets to tour all of the spots in Atlanta where the Walking Dead {and catching fire, and  Zombieland and other movies/shows} is/was filmed! Our tour guide, Patrick, has been a Walker on several episodes. Really, if you love TWD you definitely need to go on this tour! There are two of them. We went on the first one to make sure that it was good. Well it was FANTASTIC and we cant wait to go on the second one! really....I can't wait!

Just to name a few things we got to see on Tour 1.... We got to see the Hospital where Rick wakes up at the beginning of the show, the police station, and my FAVORITE...TERMINUS!!!!! oh my gosh I was flipping out. The train car and everything was there. It was WAY cool to see it!!!! Those are only a few places that we saw. The tour is three hours long so you get to see a whole whole lot!!! I can't wait to go back!!

After TWD Tour, we went to the World of Coke. I have been before but it was Harry's first time. He is a HUGE coke drinker. I think he liked it!! It's a fun place to see and you get to taste all of these kinds of Cokes from all over the World. We also got to try a limited edition Coke which was Gingerbread Coke! It was soooo delicious. It was a good time. We took some fun photos. Im pretty sad though because yesterday I realized that I didn't get one polaroid while we were in Atlanta. 

We stayed in Atlanta until sunday afternoon. I honestly wasn't ready to leave because I love a city hahaha! BUT I have serious work to get back to!

So, as you see, my first week of 2015 has been Fantastic. Unfortunately, Harry goes back to Montgomery today and that my friends makes me sad. I hate seeing him leave. Thank God I am a pretty independent gal and know how to keep my mind off of it. But, I am not for a second going to say that long distance relationships are easy, because they aren't at. all. Oh gee, but thats a whole other post all in itself. 

Well friends, I hope your new year start has been as fun as mine has!!

Weekend Post!

I wanted to tell you about my weekend!

So, Friday I went to Montgomery to see Harry. 

It was my First time to go there and see him. He always drives to Birmingham to see me!

Which is so sweet. So, I went there. I have been wanting to for a while now.

It was such a fun FUN day!!

We did so much in a few hours. 

I met his family. We had a great lunch. We went to see a movie. We got Starbucks. And THEN he took me downtown. I love cities so much. I love their lights. I love the people. I just love the whole ora. So, He had a surprise for me. Harry kept asking me if I had figured out the surprise yet as we were walking. Of course I hadn't because I've never been to Downtown Montgomery. I didn't know what there was to do! 

So we are walking and we walk through this fun light tunnel and then there is a BOAT with pretty Christmas lights!

We went on a Riverboat ride and oh my goodness. It was soooo much fun. 

There was live and very entertaining music on it. We had a great dinner and great conversation.  It was so fantastic and such a great surprise. I can't get over how sweet he is. And he makes me laugh non-stop.

We came back to Birmingham and the rest of the weekend was wonderful.

We conquered a family Christmas Party which involved Dirty Santa!

Yesterday we had such a great Christmas Service at Church. First of all, we got to see Raeghan all the way from Romania. We also got to see all of the sweet smiling childrens faces. Raeghans smile was so pretty. I really have never seen anyone with such a heart for something. It just makes me cry haha. Im so proud of her!

After we Facetimed with Rae, we had communion and had a candlelight service. 

It was so pretty.

Its been a really really great weekend. Thats really an understatement. 

ITS ALMOST CHRISTMAS.

I can't believe it.

Which means, This week is SUPER short and I have  a lot of work to conquer in two days.

Weekend Catchup!

Hi hi hi!!!

I know I've been MIA for a few days. But hey, what can I say...

I blame this good looking guy. 

ha :)

So here's how the weekend went. 

Friday I worked. We went to the Summit, had dinner, and went to the movies.

Dinner was really good. We went to Village Tavern. 

The movie was ummmmm just okay I guess....{Mockingjay}

OH and we went Urban Outfitters so I could get some B&W Polaroid Film!!! YAY!!!!

Saturday was F U N.

it consisted of Dunkin. Bailey Brothers. J Crew { H E A V E N }. Barnes & Noble. Sumo. Gap.  AE. Express. and McCalisters. and I think thats all.

Oh we also watched 22 Jump Street which is reallllly FUNNY!

That's about it. A freaking fun day! Oh I also wanted to go hit golf balls at the driving range, but then forgot to do that. oh, next time for sure!!

So....Its officially Thanksgiving week and I am so excited.

A- because its a short work week

B- I love family time

C- I live for black friday and people watching

ibB Catchup!!!

Hey Hey Heyyyy!!!

Oh I have missed my little space here. I've been SO busy with Faith these past few days. 

Sadly Faith got on a plane yesterday to head back to her Paradise!!! I was SAD to see her leave. BUT I will be seeing her very soon. in 70something days or so. 

My last weekend in Florence was P E R F E C T ! ! !

I got to enjoy it with Harry. We had such a good time. I laugh constantly at him. He's hilarious and its awesome. So, we went to the movies on Sunday and saw Fury. I  LOVED the movie. SO MUCH!!! Some of it made me sad, but if you've been wondering if you should see it, I totally say YES to that!

Harry Finallllllllyyyyyy got to meet Faith and Gypsy. YAY!

Holy Heaven Ya'll!!!  I wish you could have seen Gypsy yesterday when we pulled back up to my parents house in Bham. She went ballistic and knew exactly where we were and who was inside. I couldnt get her out of the car fast enough....actually, she normally will sit in the seat until you help little princess out of the car. But, yesterday when I opened the car door, She leaped out and ran as fast as she could to the front door with that little booty of hers swaying back and forth doing that little Gypster Hipster dance that she does when she is super excited! I was cracking up!!!!!

I haven't even had a chance to think about Halloween. So, no I will not be dressing up, and I also plan on going to see Katie Bug and Harper tonight HOPEFULLY and thats about it other than cleaning my apartment. The life of a mid-twenties gal who lives alone with no one to help clean :) haha PLUS I am expecting company in the morning, otherwise I would be out having fun tonight rather than cleaning!

Ooohhh, but my cleaning night is totally worth it because its all for my man who I finally finally finally get to see tomorrow.

FINALLY.

and I can NOT wait. Its seriously been a MONTH since I have seen him.

YAY!

Week Update & Illustrations

Hey Hey!!!

Its been a B U S Y week of being on shoots with Faith non stop this week. Its been fun and very exhausting. Faith has gotten some really wonderful shots.

So, I have managed to squeeze in TWO new illustrations. 

The first one is my good looking man, and the second one is my dear friend Kandice's little gals.

Oh Hey Cute Kid!!!

Happy Wednesday friends.

After today, we are on the downward slope to the end of the week.

Today I have some seriously cute kid clothing to share for our quickly approaching cold weather. Enjoy!

All of these puffy coats kind of make me feel like I might be able to make it through winter. You all know I despise the cold weather because I am so cold natured.

I love the navy & gray colors over the brightly colored coats. But they are super adorable on the kiddos none-the-less.

I have a very serious question. If you have children, do you find yourself looking at kiddie clothing in your free time?

{obviously a lot of your time is filled taking care of little one}

I know I don't have kids, nor am I married {ha!} but should I be worried that I DO browse at childrens clothing?? I'm just being transparent here...I can't wait to dress a man and a cute kid!! 

To be honest, I sometimes think it is more of the photography that I am oooing & ahhing over. Of course it does add a little bit of interest that the kids just so happen to be wearing perfectly constructed clothing. It just fascinates me that these photographers capture kids in the most personality filled ways. I just love it. But from having experience in the photography industry, I do know that kids at this age are full of personality because the last thing on their minds is worrying about being too silly, being too crazy, or worrying about what other people around them think. 

I just L O V E these fashion filled and personality filled images.
