TOP TWO Tippy-roos and a CUTE award:)

Yes!
One of my favorite posts of the week
TOP TWO TUESDAY
hosted by they lovely Mrs. Taylor

Today is TOP TWO
TIPS
any kind of tip I want to share with you.
I have SO many I could seriously make this like the longest post of a lifetime
but I decided that there are TWO tips right now that I think are important.

NUMBER ONE
This one effects my life right now, and I think anyone and everyone should take this and keep it nicely tucked in their little nut-shell!

If you ever land you an awesome little vintage chair,
9 out of 10 times the seat cushion will either need re-covered, or completely replaced.
Concerning the latter, The LOVELY BEYOND BRILLIANT Martha Stewart has a lovely way of completely replacing the seat cushion.
It's so Gorgeous and I LOVE.
all you need is
TWO inch wide Nylon or Cotton webbing
[which can be found at your local craft store]
Staple Gun
Hammer
& Upholstery nails!

Measure the LENGTH & WIDTH of the seat adding two inches to each.
Cut enough strips for each size to cover the entire seat area with one inch on each side
lay the strips across the seat from front to back leaving the extra inch on each side
now fold the end in by 1/2 an inch and staple
cover the staples with the upholstery nails and continue this process all the way around the seat of the chair!
and then you have a gorgeous and semi-new, revamped chair!LOVELY:)

NUMBER TWO
Friendships

[all photos found via HERE]

[self portrait by Me, Mr & I, 35mm filmstill]

Over the past few years
I have learned so much about what friendship TRUELY is.
I've made several post about this before
But I think it's really important because I feel like a lot of people easily forget or maybe don't even really understand what a true friendship is.

You can read these posts [One and Two] that may help you understand where I stand on a TRUE friendship
[One, is a little bit fussy, but I think I got the point across in a REALLY nice way]

Three simple Tips on Good Friendships.
A: It takes BEING a friend to others to really have friends.
you can't just take, take, take, and take all of the time.
You have to give back, and Giving is a really important part to a friendship.

B: Friendships should be Stress Free.
Stress is where Work, School, and Parenting [something I know NOTHING about] come in.
We don't go to friends to find Stress.
Who wants that??

C: The Best Friends are the ones you DON'T have to talk to all of the time.
The best friendships are the ones that you know Will ALWAYS be there. No Doubt in your mind. They are SOLID. You don't have to constantly have reassurance by a weekly or even daily phone call from them.
You can go months without talking, but always know that you can depend on them,
and even more importantly they can depend on you.

and a BONUS: Friends are numbered.
and REAL dependable friends are hard to come by.
I don't care who you are, or who you THINK you are.
Take those few and treat them like Gold.
They are a rare.

Those are my TWO tips for TOP TWO TUESDAY
Hope you learned something useful

sweetie peaches.

That's so true about friendships! Being a few years out of college and moving to a new state has really made me realize what true friendship really feels like. It can be sad sometimes, but it's also so amazing to know that the friends in my life right now would do anything for me and be there for me no matter what (and vice versa)!
