My dad recently discovered that we have LOADS of blackberries
right in our back yard.
LUCKY US!
I LOVE blackberries, they are one of my favorites.
so yummy.
So here is a quick and easy was to make cobbler.
You can use this recipe with any fruit
Peaches
Strawberries
Blueberries
Apples
OR YOU COULD DO A COMBINATION OF FRUITS
whichever your favorite is!

INGREDIENTS
1 Cup [or a little over] of Fresh Fruit
1 Cup of Milk
1 Cup of sugar
1 Cup of Flour
1 Teaspoon of Vanilla
1 Stick of butter [melted]

WHAT TO DO
[super simple!!]
Pour the [melted] stick of butter into the bottom of the baking dish.
In a mixing bowl, mix together the Milk, sugar, and extract!
Next add the flour to the milk and sugar mixture.

After it is all well combined, Pour the mixture into the baking dish.
Now take the fresh fruit and pour over into the baking dish.
IMPORTANT: Whatever you do, DO NOT stir together the fruit into the mixture that is already in the baking dish.
Just pour the fruit into the mixture....thats it! DO NOT STIR TOGETHER!
Let it do its own thing.
Now, Sprinking the top with a little extra sugar
Bake the cobbler at 400 degrees for about 30 minutes or until the top is golden brown

This is how ours turned out.

and it is even better when it is served hot with a little scoop of vanilla ice cream.
