To bad it's only for a week.
but it makes me SUPER excited about the future

The pup pups are being SO sweet.
They are so loving
and act like they absolutely MUST be beside me constantly
it's so CUTE!
I LOVE THEM

TOP TWO SUMMER RECIPES

NUMBER ONE

Summer Fruit Angel Cake
This one I just made for my PawPaw
it's super EASY
and delicious

Ingredients:
Store bought Angel Food Cake
Large Container of Cool Whip
1 Can Pineapple Tidbits [small]
1 Can Mandarine Oranges [small]
1 container of Fresh Strawberries
and any other fruits that you love
Finely chopped pecans

Assemble:
Open and Drain all of the canned fruits reserving about a two table spoons of juice from each can
wash, and cut strawberries in to slices
Cut the angel food cake in half [horizontally, NOT vertically]
This makes the cake into a two layer cake
Take off the top layer and set aside
pour some of the reserved fruit juice onto the top of the cake.
the juice will immediately absorb into the cake
put a layer of cool whip on top of the bottom layer of the food cake
then place a hefty amount of fruit on top of the cool whip layer

Take the top layer of the angel food cake that was set aside, and place it on top of the cool whip and fruit layer
The cake should look and be layered like this from top to bottom
Cake Layer
Fruit Layer
Cool whip layer
Cake layer
........................................

That's it a nice two layer cake
now, cover the rest of the cake with the remaining cool whip
It's PERFECTLY fine to let some of the goodies run into the middle of the cake
I actually fill up the center hole of my cake with the left over fruit
Once the cake is covered with cool whip
make the top look pretty with the remaining fruit
and sprinkle the top, and sides of the cake with pecans!

That's all
So yummy and easy

NUMBER TWO

My Grandmommy's Banana Ice cream
It is SO super delicious.
But I hate to tell you this, I have NO clue how she makes it but I did find some recipes while browsing the web!

HERE is one the is EXTREMELY interesting
You use ONE ingredient
YEP! Bananas.
Simple slice, and freeze them.
Then, Pop them into the food processor, or blender, and puree them into a frozen banana cream
I actually think this sound FANTASTIC!

CHIQUITA has a homemade ice cream recipe using an actual ice cream maker.
Well hope you try one of these

They are BOTH way easy
and SUMMERish
