June

Hi, so I'm back
to sort through all of this that is going on this month!
JUNE is my Favorite month!
Like some of you who commented on my previous post,
June is also MY BIRTHDAY month too.
[the 19th in case you want to send me a gift]
So, of course its my favorite month!

[cred]

last June, I spent the month doing Nothing else but what I Love to do more than anything and that is

PAINT!
and this June, I plan on doing pretty much the EXACT same thing with a little bit of something extra.

I have something that I have been meaning to mention for a while now, but for some reason it always just seemed to slip my mind.
So please forgive me.

But tomorrow I start a month long internship.
It's at a Design firm called GAS Design Center that is in Tuscumbia, Alabama.
I have SO much going on in my head about it.

It's actually very exciting for me because a little over a year ago, I went with my FAVORITE professor [Mrs. Pinch] and the rest of my photography class to take a little tour of the studio.
When I walked into the building my heart literally started dancing around inside my chest and was beating insanely fast.
It is the most GORGEOUS place I have ever seen.
and that is a HUGE understatement.
I was blown away.
When I got in my car to leave, I called my mom, and had a spill of things that I tried so hard to describe to her, but it still was all a complete understatement of the emotion, beauty, and almost Dream-like studio I had just walked out of.

So, a couple of months later, I decided to try and get an internship there. I went for a little interview, and then after talking to them realized that the internship was going to be at the same time and hours that I would be in class for my last semester in school. So, sadly I wasn't going to be able to do the internship. I was SO sooo upset!

Well a few days later, I got a voicemail from them saying they had an internship open for the entire month of June, and it was mine if I wanted it!
MAN OH MAN did I want it!
I was ecstatic.

So, here I am today, still SO excited about the internship, and Im SO SOOO ready to learn anything and everything that I possibly can in one months time.

But, here is what I am struggling with,
I feel like I haven't seen my family in 4 years, when I actually see them every single weekend.
I'm getting to this point where going back and forth constantly between my two homes
[Birmingham & Florence]
is seriously making me exhausted. I literally live out of my suitcase and duffle bag.
It is so tiring
I just want a place where I can settle in...at least for a solid YEAR.
I want a cute little place for all my clothes, a cute little place for all my jewelry, a cute little desk area to decorate, etc. etc.
I want that SO so bad.

PLEASE don't get me wrong I have two AMAZING homes and families, and I really couldn't be more blessed!
It's just one of those situations where you really can't understand unless you have been in these shoes.

But needless to say I am SO excited about tomorrow!
Diving in there, and creating anything and everything!
So, tomorrows blog I should have A LOT to tell you, at least I hope so!!
Stop by GAS design center's site and see what they are all about.
It's BRILLIANT!

Thanks for listening!

That sounds amazing!! Congratulations. I can't wait to hear about it.

And I totally understand just wanting a place to call home that is yours to do with as you please. That time will be here before you know it I'm sure!
