How I Met My Husband..hahaha!

I ran across this blog
It's really REALLY adorable.
Today on show us your life friday, They are all telling stories of how they met their husband.

Well, as some of you know,
I'm not married.
BUT BUT BUT.
I have met the one person that I am meant to spend the rest of my life with
and the one person that God created just for me.
I feel like I DEFINITELY do qualify to tell my story
whether or not I have a ring on my finger, and whether or not I have a marriage license...
SO, Here's our story.

In 2006, I was an 18 year old little girl
who desperately wanted some independence. So, in the summer of that year, I applied to the university of North Alabama.
A city far enough away to give me some indepence, yet close enough to home that I could get there if I ever needed to.

After I got accepted, I then had to attend SOAR which is this orientation thing that is over a weekend long period. One of my best friend from high school [Will] also got accepted and was going too.

Will is a REALLY outgoing person. He doesn't meet a stranger.  I, on the other hand, am TOO TOOOOO shy. So, the entire weekend I somewhat just stayed attached to Will's side while he met and made us so many new friends. One guy imparticular was this guy named Nathan. We had started talking to him because we had similar tastes in music. So, SOAR went by, and when I got home, we all re-connected on Myspace [this was obviously before facebook...HA!]  So, me and Nathan became friends on Myspace.

This is the part of the story where me and my Mr. start having a fuss about our little story. He says I sent him a friend request, but I say HE SENT ME ONE!!
So Michael, was friends with Nathan, and through Nathan Me and Michael became online friendies.
We would stay up for hours upon hours and into the wee hours of the morning talking on AIM. [wow that seems like a dinosaur since the more recent ways of communicating...do people still use AIM??]
anyway so, I found out SO much about him through that and I thought he was completely ADORABLE!
Here's the only problem with that...an the time I had a "boyfriend".

I talked to Michael online constantly up unitl the day I actually moved to the same town that he lived in.

[My little brother & I on the day I moved...we were SAD]

The day I moved was a little scary, but it was exciting especially since I had met a couple of cool people.

School was fun and me and michael continued to talk online most every night.
Nathan and his friends would eat at this place called roosters every tuesday [I think it was tuesdays], and I knew that Michael usually went. So, I made Will go to see if Michael was as cool of a guy in real life as he was virtually :]

So Will went and turns out, Michael didn't go that night.
[that's really funny now because after me and Michael actually started dating he told me that on move in day, his older brother was helping people move in the dorms and he told him to be sure to look for me to see if I was as cute as I was online...HAHA]

So after the first week of school settled down and I got into the swing of college life, me and Michael decided we were actually going to meet...in REAL LIFE.
So, where else to meet other than the wonderful mall!
IT WAS ODD!
it was like you see in the movies when two huge modsquads are about to go head to head combat on each other!
when I saw him, AHHH HE WAS SOOO SOOOO ADORABLE.
at first it was a little weird, but after a few minutes it was all good.
He bought me this little bitty yellow fishy out of the gumball machine, and to this day I still have it on the dash in my car....I told him it's going to be our topper on our wedding cake!
[2006]
After we met, we were constantly together. He even went home with me one weekend, and lets just say after the inseperableness, me and the "boyfriend" at the time called it quits.

[2009]

THANK THE GOOD LORD, My Michael stuck with me through all of that, and I owe him FOREVER for that.
So, that's our story, and now 4 years later he is still the most amazing person I have ever met.
We have so much to look forward to, and I'm SO overly excited about that!
