Boy could I tell it was Monday when I woke up.
I had a very unusual morning.
after my first class, I could barely hold my eyes open I was SO sleepy,
I tried to do some reading, but it just wasn't happening
So I went and took a nap in my car before my next class....and it was the most peaceful sleep I've had in a while.
So after my really odd nap, I went to class and BRAINSTORMED BRAINSTORMED BRAINSTORMED for three hours.
One of my professors suggested I look at the work of
[cred.]
Francesco Clemente
So I studied his work all day.
In my last class for today,
I was SO SOOOO inspired
and fell head over heels in LOVE
with the work of
SONIA DELAUNAY
[all photos here]
SO SOOOO TALENTED.
She was a painter
Textile Designer
Stage Set Designer
SHE WAS AN AMAZING AMAZING AMAAAAAZZZZZINNNGGG
Designer
Her designs were even on CARS...geez I mean REALLY, how fantastic would that be
to see YOUR own work rolling down the road??
PURE BLISS!
Oh this is her BOUTIQUE
I cant even comprehend owning a boutique
which contained all my own clothing, made of my own fabrics, with my own designs on them...I just can't even begin to explain to you how that makes me feel.
anyway so I'm wanting SOMEHOW [of which I have no idea how] to weave ideas from both of these artist in with my work I have already been working on for my final project.
So, I just wanted to share with you a woman who had REALLY inspired me.
CHECK HER OUT!
HOW WAS YOUR MONDAY??
