BUTTERY PEAR CAKE

I have this really great friend.
Her name is JESSICA!
She's a doll.
She lives in Mississippi, and I NEVER get to see her anymore since she graduated.
We share SO many interest, and I miss her BUNCHES.

That sweet little thing shared this DELICIOUS recipe with me
and now it's my turn to share it with you.

BUTTER PEAR CAKE

INGREDIENTS
3 to 4 Ripe Pears [Peeled, Cored, and cut into 6th]
1 stick of butter [softened]
3/4 cup of Sugar
1 tsp Vanilla Extract
2 Eggs
1 Cup Flour
1 Tsp baking powder
1 Tsp Salt

DIRECTIONS
Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
With an electric mixer, Cream together the butter, sugar, and Extract
Add in TWO eggs [one at a time]

Combine flour, Baking powder, and Sal into a separate bowl,
then add to this to the butter mixture

Spray an 8in Spring Form pan with cooking spray
and spread the batter into the pan.
Now, Press the peeled pear halves  into the batter in a pinwheel pattern.
Sprinkle the top with a little extra sugar.

Place the pan in the oven and bake for about 45 minutes to an hour [depending on the oven]
or until a toothpick inserted comes out completely clean.
